This website, www.perfumetreesgin.com, is operated by Cheung's Brothers Enterprises Company Limited, the Hong Kong company behind Perfume Trees Gin ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Contact form. If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address, optional phone number and message you enter, plus the page language.

Age confirmation. When you confirm you are of legal drinking age, your browser stores a small flag (ptg_age_ok) in local storage so we do not ask again. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.

We do not set advertising cookies or use advertising or analytics tracking pixels on the pages of www.perfumetreesgin.com.

2. How we use it

We use contact-form details only to reply to your enquiry and handle any request that follows (for example a tasting, a trade enquiry or an order question). We do not sell your personal data, and we will not use it for direct marketing unless you have separately given us your consent.

3. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run this website: Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form handling) and Google (email, and Google Maps, which our pages load to show the map on our contact page). Fonts are served by Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts; Adobe Fonts counts font page-views for licensing purposes. These providers may process data outside Hong Kong, including in the United States, under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

4. Our online shop and bookings

Purchases and tasting bookings take place on shop.perfumetreesgin.com, which runs on Wix. That site uses its own cookies, including analytics and advertising tools from Google (Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook Pixel), some of which are set for the whole perfumetreesgin.com domain. Data you provide there is handled under that site's terms and Wix's privacy policy.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our reasonable business records, and then delete them.

6. Your rights

You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Please email info@perfumetreesgin.com. We may charge a reasonable fee for a data access request, as the Ordinance allows.

7. Age restriction

This website is intended only for people of legal drinking age (18 or over in Hong Kong). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
